Splash n' dash the crowd this summer

Windows Live Messenger and KFC have teamed up to bring you a game to cool down those steamy afternoons at the cricket this summer.

There's a question that weighs on a lot of us during those summer afternoons in front of the cricket — "what the hell am I going to do when they go in for lunch?" You could stay on the couch and tune into The Cricket Show, or you could login to Messenger and challenge one of your friends to a game of KFC's Splash n' Dash.

Here's how to do it...

First, login to Messenger and open up a chat window with a friend you'd like to play against. At the top of your chat window, hit the Games tab.

Then select KFC Summer Splash n' Dash from the menu and hit Start Game

Click on Play in the game's main menu

Now you're ready to go. All you need to do is use the water cannon to spray any overheated members of the crowd, while avoiding obstacles like eskis and seagulls as best you can on the ground. Use your mouse to aim and fire the water cannon, and the up arrow to raise the suspension on the van to avoid all those bothersome things on the grass.
