The new Windows Live allows you to publish your photos directly to Facebook you're just a download and a few clicks away from being able to do just that.
Facebook is one of the major partner sites that you can sync with Windows Live. And now, thanks to the new LiveUpload plug-in, you can publish the photos you upload and edit using Windows Live Photo Gallery straight to your Facebook profile, with all the tagging you've done transferring between the services automatically.
The first step is to download the LiveUpload for Facebook plug-in. Once you've installed it, you'll find it in Photo Gallery under Publish → More services.
After you've done that, it's just a matter of choosing a Facebook account and album you want to publish into. Then selecting any Facebook friends of yours who might have been tagged in your current set through the plug-in and well, it's as easy as that really.
So you can get twice the photo publishing bang for the same amount of effort. Just make sure you use Photo Gallery to do all your tagging and captioning first, and you won't have to break a sweat.
A LiveUpload plug-in is also available for YouTube, which lets you upload your videos straight from Windows Live Movie Maker Beta or Photo Gallery straight to the world's largest video-sharing service. We also hear that a LiveUpload plug-in for Flickr is in the works, so stay tuned for more.
