Use Bing to spice up your emails
Use Bing to spice up your emails

Sometimes, the best description in the world simply won't do. That's when a quick-pic added to your email gives it the finishing touch it deserves. But could you really be bothered opening up a new browser and searching the web to find the exact image you're after? We thought not.

Thankfully, the new Hotmail allows you to use Bing to search the web and add results to an email message without ever leaving the window you're in. Here's how you can add some spice to your outgoing emails in a few easy steps.

In the Insert bar at the top of a message, click From Bing.

1. In the drop-down list, click the type of content you'd like to insert (images, Clip Art, Videos or Webpages). The Quick Add pane will then appear to the right of your email message.

2. Type what you want to find in the search box. You can use keywords or specific names — such as cities, people or pretty much anything else.

3. Browse the options in your search results, and then select what you're after to automatically add the information to your message.
